The new
polyisoprene condoms by LifeStyles (SKYN) and Durex (Avanti Bare) are both now
priced for public health at $330/case of 1000.
Polyisoprene is the latest breakthrough in non-latex condom material!
Polyisoprene condoms are said to be softer, more sensitive
and more comfortable to wear than polyurethane condoms.
Polyisoprene provides protection against pregnancy and, if
used properly, will help reduce the risk of transmission of HIV (AIDS)
infection and many other sexually transmitted diseases. Do not use oil based lubricants with these condoms.
Consistent with typical sex education regarding condom use nationwide, this
condom can be used with any condom compatible water based or silicone based
lubricant such as I-D Glide or I-D Millennium.
